These roosters have some of the most beautiful coloration of any bird in N. America, The ringneck pheasant is something too see.  The detail on this bronze was really fun to work on.  I used a traditional patina to give the sense of the coloration typically seen on these beautiful birds.  I don't like ultra-realistic painting on bronze sculptures as it seems to mute the fact that the piece is a bronze.  This 20 x 12 x 16 piece is a limited edition of 30
