This piece was originally completed for Weikert's Livestock company as a trophy for the Bob Weikert Memorial sprint car race.  This race is held every Memorial Day Weekend, and one trophy is awarded to the champion driver and one to the champion owner.  It was fun to be a part of this project as I've been a fan of dirt track sprint car racing since I was a kid.
